Ello all :} From the goodness of Ponce (my art teacher's) heart, I was able to scan this piece of art and kinda-sorta edit it (background still funky, maybe it will be edited :P) This was done during art club, so possibly every Tuesday ( if I'm not busy,) it will be updated. Enjoy :} The character is based upon Libba Bray's Gemma in A Great and Terrible Beauty series.


Media: Coloured pencils and micron ink.

Critiques are welcome, but please do not 'critique' by saying, this sucks. That's very unconstructive and not very helpful. Thanks bunches.

PS- I know some of the anatomy is off. That's what happens when I do a quick sketch and I don't edit it.

It looks very nice! Again you should maybe resize this a bit ;)

Her mouth looks a tad big, but that might be your style as well. The folds look relatively random, but hey, fold aren't my best of friends either! ^^; Plus I think you've coloured this really nicely, good job ^_^

The scan is suppper huge :0 I can't full view it. Maybe resize to ~ 1000 pixels next time? Just to make viewing easier ;3 I really love the blues in this and the texture of the dress is really pretty and flowy! Lovely work!

Ah but there will be sometime this year! i heard she's almost done writing the 3rd book and that it will be published just in time for summer. ^^
